In Oklahoma can’t be found any highlights or national park directly on Route 66. There are of course in the country a number of state parks and grassland or forests to see, but of course these are no great highlights such as in Arizona or New Mexico.
I describe two parks, which ar nor so far away from Route 66. Whether it is worth 109 miles to Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge to drive or 94 miles to Alabaster Caverns State Park everybody can decide on its own.
