Cicero – Cindy Lyn Motel
The Cindy Lyn Motel opened in 1960 with 18 rooms, it was built directly on Route 66. The hotel was popular for guests who wanted to visit Chicago, so to speak, the hotel outside the city. When the hotel opened, a room cost $6,18. If a taxi handed in a guest at the hotel, the driver was given a Cindy Lyn lighter. Since the opening of the motel it is owned an operated by the same family.

Litchfiled – Belevidere Motel / Café
1929 when the Route 66 proved to be a national east-west artery, the Belvidere Motel and Cafe was built by Albina and Vincenzo Cerolla, two European immigrants, It was at first only a motel with a room and a gas station with a gas pump, for travelers on Route 66.

Farmersville – Art’s Motel
The motel was a typical small Route 66 Motel. Unfortunately, although it is good practice to achieve is located on the Interstate, now also closed. The hotel sign was restored in self-work of the residents of Farmersville recently (Mother’s Day 2007).
