in front of this diner is a sign that copies the welcome sign in Las Vegas. This restaurant chain has been around since the 1950s, the first bar opened in Chicago.

On the roof of the old ice cream stand, next to the Route 66 park, are standing the Blues Brothers characters. The business is unfortunately closed. It is one of the most famous Route 66 attractions in Joliet.
