Gateway Arch - St. Louis

St. Louis – Eureka – Pacific
The Gateway Arch in St. Louis should not be missed. It is located in 11 North 4th Street in St. Louis Downtown, right next to the Mississippi. On the other side of the road is the Court House, not the State Capitol of Missouri, because that is in Jefferson City, MO. Follow in St. Louis always Hwy 366 to Valley Park. From Valley Park, there is unfortunately no other way to follow Route 66. then drive on I-44 to Eureka. There, leave the I-44, the next town is Pacific, MO.

Gardenway Motel - Villa Rdge, MO

Villa Ridge – Union – St. Clair
In Pacific follow Business Loop I-44 through town. Follow the West Osage Street, drive onto MO-100 to Villa Ridge. Follow then Hwy 50 turn right to Union, MO. Drive on Hwy 47 to St. Clair. We are not driven the detour via Union but we followed Highway 50 and I-44 to St. Clair. In Union there are no special Route 66 attractions, this route you can go for the completeness.

Stanton Motel, Missouri

Anaconda – Oak Grove – Sullivan – Bourbon – Cuba
Follow N Servcie Road straight ahead, drive parallel to Interstate 44 on the left hand side. At exit 230 of Interstate change the conductor side of the road and follow the Highway W. The signs of the Route 66 Association are clearly visible at the intersection. In Stanton is the old Stanton Motel. Drive through Oak Grove, then through Sullivan, always follow the Springfield Road. The street is called in the next place, Bourbon, then “Old Route 66” and Chestnut Street. Drive through Hofflins, parallel to the railway on the left. You reach Cuba, MO.

Wagon Wheel Motel, Cuba, Missouri

Fanning – Rosati – St. James
Cuba was founded in 1857 and was indeed named after the island of Cuba. In Cuba, the Wagon Wheel Motel (East Washington Avenue) is located. Behind Cuba follow the Highway ZZ. Located on Highway ZZ Fanning is with the Route 66 attraction, the “world’s large largest rocking chair.” Follow ZZ continue to Rosati always parallel to I-44th. Behind Rosati follow Hwy KK to St. James.

Dillon – Rolla – Doolittle – Arlington – Jerome
Follow the Dillon Outer Road. Drive at the next interstate ramp on the other side and turn left onto Old Highway 66. You drive parallel to the I-44 on the left. Passing Northwye, turn on U.S. 63 turn left. You reach Rolla, MO. In Rolla follow the Business Loop I-44 through town. Turn left before the bridge into the Martin Spring Drive. The I-44 is now agian on the right. Follow in Doolittle always Eisenhower Road. In Arlington briefly on the drive up I-44 (exit 176). At exit 172 leave the Interstate and drive to the Outer Road West. Pass trough Clementine and Hooker on Highway Z.
